 The sleepy village of Edremit overlooks the Mediterranean and is situated in the foothills of Hilarion Mountain. A very small and tranquil village positioned halfway up the hill towards the Mountainside village of Karmi. With two small grocery stores for you to buy your daily produce or just spend a few minutes for a chat.  You will also find a very well stocked village craft shop. Just 1 mile down the hill is Karaoglanoglu, here you will find supermarkets, restaurants and not to forget to mention sandy beaches.  Should you be a keen walker, around Edremit are lots of interesting and well marked walks. Walking not for you then Edremit is only 3 miles from Girne/Kyrenia town centre
