Yesiltepe
Yesiltepe translated means ‘green hill’ is a small Cypriot village situated between Alsancak and Karaoglanoglu. It sits on the lower slopes of the mountain range and slightly higher is the village called Ilgaz. Yesiltepe has a huge ravine that runs up alongside the road and leads all the way up to the charming village of Ilgaz set amongst the pine trees on the higher slopes of the ravine. These two villages have wonderful sea and mountain views. For the holidaymaker looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern everyday life then either village could be their retreat. Yesiltepe is not far from the coastal road that leads to Lapta and Karsiyaka and so not far from restaurants bars and hotels, yet both the village of Yesiltepe and Ilgaz could feel as though they are a hundred miles away.
