Mehmetcik is located in an elevated position looking North East to the beautiful Karpaz Peninsula, South West along the line of the mountains whilst the Mediterranean Sea is not far away to the North and South. The thriving new resort of Bafra is around 5-10 minutes drive.

The village also offers a good range of supermarkets, a bank, butchers and green grocers, all enough to cope with the requirements for day to day living. The City of Famagusta is  around 30 minutes or so along the scenic coastal road, passing through the popular fishing village of Bogaz, with its lovely small fishing harbour and good selection of restaurants.

It is no coincidence that a number of very influential international investors have chosen North Cyprus over other Mediterranean countries in which to invest. This is borne out by the superb yacht marina now open on the Karpaz Peninsula and the massive new five star resort at Bafra, including a new golf course under construction there due for completion in 2015.
