Bogaz
The delightful fishing village of Bogaz lies by the Mediterranean Sea on the south facing end of Famagusta Bay in Northern Cyprus. The village forms part of the urban district of Iskele and is about 4 miles from the small town of that name. There is an excellent modern supermarket on the outskirts of Bogaz and the village is famous for its very pretty setting and small working fishing harbour. Around the harbour can be found a first class selection of restaurants and bars where one can enjoy a pleasant drink or a meal as you survey the activities in the harbour or watch the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean lap onto the beach. The larger village of Iskele which is close by, is home to many other shops and amenities and excellent new road links make destinations such as Kyrenia, Famagusta and Ercan or Larnaca airports very easily reached.
Why buy in North Cyprus ?
Consider the forward thinking infrastructure projects like the superb new roads linking main centres like Kyrenia,(Girne) The Karpaz, Bafra, Famagusta (Gazimagusa) Nicosia, (Lefkosa) and the airports at Ercan and Larnaca, and you get some idea of the scale of investment on the part of both government and private investors. The exciting new water supply pipe under the sea from Turkey using pioneering technology can only add to the future prosperity of Northern Cyprus and we believe will also add value to property and land investments here.
These people don’t often get it wrong and this vote of confidence may be considered a guide to your own choice of where to buy your home or invest in land in the Mediterranean.
