Bafra

Investments made jointly from the private sector and the government in the Bafra region are designed to boost tourism in the area. Plans for no less than 12 five star hotels and casinos, a shopping centre and enlarged desalination facilities will make this into the ‘Las Vegas’ of the Eastern Mediterranean’. Bogaz

The delightful fishing village of Bogaz lies by the Mediterranean Sea on the south facing end of Famagusta Bay in Northern Cyprus. The village forms part of the urban district of Iskele and is about 4 miles from the small town of that name. There is an excellent modern supermarket on the outskirts of Bogaz and the village is famous for its very pretty setting and small working fishing harbour. Around the harbour can be found a first class selection of restaurants and bars where one can enjoy a pleasant drink or a meal as you survey the activities in the harbour or watch the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean lap onto the beach. The area is blessed with a number of sandy beaches and is well located to benefit from some exciting developments that are either planned, under construction, or already completed.
