To the west, the road takes you along the coast then south towards the citrus growing region of Guzelyurt where at spring time the scent from the orange and lemon blossoms is quite amazing. From the Kyrenia area there are good road links to the capital, Nicosia (Lefkosa), and the airport at Ercan. These excellent road links improve the possibilities for rental income if required and also open up the whole vista of North Cyprus with towns like Famagusta and the fabulous Karpaz Peninsula becoming easily reached.
