When you buy a one twelfth share in an apartment or penthouse on this delightful and innovative development the allocation of weeks is decided by you, not by a form of lottery as in the case of many time share arrangements which this must not be confused with. Various property taxes in accordance with TRNC law apply. These are currently:
Purchase tax: 6% of property cost reduced to 3% for first time buyers. (There is currently a government discount of 75% on purchase tax.) Stamp duty 0.5% of property cost.
