The Village

The village is very small with a collection of houses and farms. The centre has a mini market and the usual church and mosque but the nearby village of Iskele and the larger supermarkets is only a few miles away. The picturesque harbour at Bogaz is just a short drive away and well worth a visit, with a number of good restaurants and bars. The area around Iskele and Bogaz contains a mixture of local Cypriots, British born Cypriots and expatriates. Tunalar is just a 35 minute drive to Ercan airport and only 25 minutes from Famagusta. Close by is Iskele beach, a long stretch of sandy beach within a 10 minute drive. Bogaz Harbour is less than ten minutes away and then you have the whole of the Karpaz peninsula to explore, pretty much at your doorstep. There are a number of good restaurants in the area including those at Bogaz Harbour.
