The Location
The attractive fishing village of Bogaz can be found on the East Coast of North Cyprus and is a ideal location for a holiday home, full time occupation or for rental income. In Bogaz, there is a working harbour with a selection of restaurants both serving Turkish Cypriot and European cuisine. Also there is a new complex of 1000 shops and entertainment venues under construction and within reach of Bogaz which is known as “Big Old Bazaar”. In the nearby town of Iskele can be found many useful facilities including two hospitals, one private and one government owned. Also there are a number of pharmacies with a rota system ensuring at least one is available at all times in case of emergency. The town has some excellent schools including a government owned school for children aged from 5 to 16 years. There are several shops and banks in the town plus other businesses such as hairdressers, garages and a vets practice.There is also an excellent modern supermarket on the outskirts of Bogaz which is very convenient for this property. The fine sandy beach is within easy reach or you could take advantage of the 8 communal pools with an Olympic sized main pool that this holiday village has to offer, along with its recently opened restaurant and bar. Bogaz is the gateway to the unspoilt and exquisite region of the Karpaz which is a protected national park and has some of the finest best beaches in the Med. The main town and seaport of Famagusta is only a short drive away of about 20 minutes, and Ercan Airport can be reached within 45 minutes or so.
