The Complex

Completed around 4 years ago to the highest standard this popular development is located on a gentle sloping hillside that overlooks the beautiful Famagusta bay and the village of Bogaz. On a clear day, and there are many of those, you can see as far as Cape Greco on the furthermost south eastern tip of Cyprus. The property is just a ten to fifteen minute walk to the coast and to the lovely harbour at Bogaz. On the development itself there are a total of 8 communal pools so the pools open to you are never crowded. The “Opera pool” is a freeform overflow pool that gives a magnificent sea view as well as views of the Kyrenia mountain range and the magnificent and magical Kantara Castle. The Region

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, (T.R.N.C.), is one of the few remaining “undiscovered” places of the Mediterranean. It has a diverse abundance of outstanding and unspoilt natural beauty from the crystal clear waters and golden sandy beaches to the heights of the pine clad mountains and Crusader Castles. With exemptions on income tax, import duties, corporation tax and very low council tax Northern Cyprus is a property investors’ haven. With prices around half of that in the south of the island the potential for growth is considerable and real. The Village

Bogaz, Iskele is a delightful coastal village where you can truly relax. The harbour is the focal point of the village where you will find a good mix of locals and foreign nationals sitting sipping ice cold drinks or Turkish coffee playing Tavla and watching the world go by. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars to choose from with several others due to open this coming spring and summer. Nearby there are all of the amenities you would expect such as banks, a large supermarket, petrol station, bakers, pharmacy and a small clinic. There is a small sandy beach adjacent to the harbour and several others within a short distance. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the magical Kantara castle where you can see both the north and south coasts of the island and take in the natural beauty of the wild flowers and magnificent scenery. Exciting New Developments

The past three to four years has seen an increase in foreign investment with investors from Russia, Israel, Turkey and the UK buying into property, land and large scale developments and, despite a global recession in property, work continues on the planned developments mentioned below.

Viva Las Bafra!

Investments made jointly from the private sector and the government in the Bafra region are designed to boost tourism in the area. Plans for no less than 16 five star themed hotels, a shopping centre and enlarged desalination facilities will make this into the ‘Las Vegas’ of the Eastern Mediterranean’. The hotels will be designed along various themes with such names as The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, The Coliseum, The Artimisia Temple, Noah’s Ark etc. The 750 bed Kaya Artemis is already completed. This touristic development is just a 10 minute drive from the complex at Safa Koy.

Super New Marina As if that were not enough  the new Karpaz Gate Marina is under construction at Yeni Erenkoy harbour just 30 minutes away from Bogaz. It will be large enough for 350 plus vessels, including Super Yachts of over 65 metres. Restrictions on sailing along the territorial waters of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus have now been lifted which means yachts will sail to this new and almost only available berthing spot in the Eastern Mediterranean. This will further add value to properties and investments in the area and act as a money magnet with the super rich bringing their yachts and wanting to explore the region.
