Wild donkeys are another feature of the Karpaz and the friendly Cypriot villagers continue to live mostly off the land or from the sea. Although this location offers an unbelievably peaceful way of life, you are certainly not isolated or cut off from civilization.

Most day to day requirements can be obtained in Yenierenkoy or Dipkarpaz  villages, or it is an easy drive to the major town and seaport of Famagusta for really serious shopping or for a day out in this historic city. On the way you will pass the new 5 star resort at Bafra and the quaint fishing village of Bogaz.
